Run planning
Before the first stop.
Addresses, access instructions and delivery notes belong with the run. Bring them across with the order so the driver can find them at the stop.

Import orders from your existing software. Keep addresses and customer instructions with each order, so drivers can check access details and the agreed drop-off point.
Automatic route optimisation
Let the optimiser handle allocation and stop sequencing across your fleet. It uses road travel times, vehicle capacity and driver hours to propose runs for small and large fleets. You keep control: review, adjust and lock the plan before dispatch.
Runs across multiple days
Keep longer routes together as multi-day runs, with the orders and stops in one plan. Drivers can follow the run across days without treating each day as a separate trip.
Load in order, with a check at each scan
Show operators what to load next and where each pack is on the shop floor. Scan packs onto the assigned vehicle and compare the scanned load with the expected packs before departure.
Email and SMS integration
Keep customers informed with configurable email and SMS notifications. Email covers scheduling, departure and delivery updates; SMS delivery confirmations use your connected Twilio account.
Proof of delivery
Every stop, recorded.
Show drivers the next delivery and the packs loaded for it. Scanning those packs off the vehicle checks the delivery against the load, helping make sure nothing is left behind.
Capture delivery photos and a customer signature at the stop. The completed proof returns to the back office and stays with the order for record keeping.
Keep working offline.
Load the run while connected. Drivers can then view their stops, scan packs and capture photos and signatures offline. Saved details are sent when an internet connection is available.
Customer collections
A clear handover at collection.
Set up multiple pick-up points across your business and assign each collection order to one. Staff can see where the order is due to be collected and capture the customer’s signature at the point of collection.
The signed collection record stays with the order, giving the office a record of the handover.

Ask us about your setupCan drivers work without an internet connection?
Yes. Once a run has been loaded while online, drivers can use the saved run details and capture proof of delivery offline, including scans, photos and signatures. Delivery records sync when connectivity returns. New run details and changes from the office require a connection.
Does route optimisation work for different fleet sizes?
Yes. The optimiser plans across the drivers and vehicles available for the day, for small and large fleets. It considers road travel times, vehicle capacity and driver hours, and presents the proposed runs for you to review.
Do we need dedicated devices or an on-site server?
No. Tessera is cloud hosted and works through a browser on compatible existing computers, tablets and phones. Drivers can use the offline features on their existing phones.
Can we send updates to customers?
Yes. Email and SMS integration is available for customer notifications. Configure your email settings and connect your own Twilio account for SMS delivery confirmations. Confirmations for deliveries recorded offline are sent after the delivery record syncs.
Can we keep using our existing order system?
