A pack can move several times before it leaves the factory. Each scan records its new location and who moved it, so dispatch has a record to check.

Give incoming materials a clear identity from the start. Assign Tessera barcodes, record quantities and locations, and print labels on a standard desktop printer or a compatible Zebra label printer.

When a location needs checking, see where an item came from, where it went and who moved it. Receipts, issues and returns stay part of the same history.
Review quantities and costs
Use stock reports to review quantities by item or supplier and see what you’re holding. With the right permissions, you can also see recorded costs and stock value.
Loading and dispatch
From a stock location to a vehicle.
Once the packs are in dispatch, scan them onto the assigned vehicle. The order’s stock and loading records stay connected, so you can check what has actually been loaded.

Ask us about your setupCan we use our existing hardware?
Yes. Tessera works in a browser on compatible computers, tablets and phones. Use compatible barcode scanners, a supported device’s camera, or typed entry. We’ll check your current kit with you during a demo, so you can see what’s needed before buying anything.
Do we need a label printer?
A dedicated label printer is optional. Start with a standard desktop printer, or add an inexpensive compatible Zebra printer for regular labelling. A Zebra printer connects to an existing computer running Tessera’s print software.
You can print wherever there’s an internet connection, with the printer and its connected computer set up for Tessera. Put printers in different buildings, dispatch bays or sites to suit the way your business works.
Do we need an on-premise server?
No. Tessera is cloud hosted, with no on-premise server to install or maintain. Optional label-printing software runs on an existing computer connected to your printer.
Can we track pallets and containers?
Yes. Track a pallet or container along with the items inside it. When you record a move for the container, Tessera updates the location of its contents too.
Can different people have different access?
Yes. Give people access that matches their role, whether they work on the floor, manage stock or configure the warehouse. Separate permissions cover actions such as manual moves and viewing financial details.
